The delegate of Professional Clubs association visited Mohammad Bin Zayed Stadium and checked the facilities and infrastructure of Al Jazeera Sports and Cultural Club. The delegate met with Saeed Bin Shaiban, the Board Member, Dr. Belhassan Maloush, the Technical manager of Sports Affairs in the Club and directors of media, marketing, public relations and security affairs in the club. During its visit, the delegate stressed on the security preparations such as the surveillance cameras, players' changing rooms and referees rooms, mixed area, arenas, lighting, media center, electronic clock and meeting room. The delegate also recommended the administrative staff to be provided by the club whether on the club level or main stadium. The delegate was impressed by the facilities and equipments owned by the club that enables the club to be one of the professional clubs in the UAE League 2008-2009. The delegate, which consists of: Luca Baldenza, Rumi Gey, Thomas Craotser and Dodge Chikiri expressed their delight with the facilities of Mohammad Bin Zayed Stadium which is capable of hosting the matches of Al Jazeera Club in the pros league. Saeed Bin Shaiban stressed the importance of reaching the true essence of professionalism during the next season. He added that the club will work with the association to finalize the preparations for the matches of the 2008-2009 pros season. Piano presents outstanding performance in AL Jazira Camp
Ahmad Saeed, the administrative of Al Jazeera first team during a meeting in the team's camp in Saint Wolfgang, Austria with Mr. Gerard, Director of Polarlis Company that organized the camp discussed mutual issues with the company and Al Jazeera Club. Both parties agreed on the importance of such visits and mutual organization of camps. Ahmad Saeed stated that the management of Al Jazeera appreciates big efforts exerted by Polarlis during the camp, especially for providing all the needs of the delegate and its members. Saeed Said in exclusive report to the Club's website: "We would like to thank Manager and all staff of Polarlis for their efforts in making this camp successful." Saeed revealed that the team received an offer from Mr. Gerard for a similar training camp next summer in the same place. Gerard stated that they will invite Real Madrid to play an amicable game with Al Jazeera in Linz, Austria. Saeed Invited Mr. Gerard to visit Abu Dhabi as it is agreed that the visit will be next February. Today, Al Jazeera Team will visit the historic palace of Linz, where the players will meet with North Austria Ruler and then they will have dinner. Faisal Al Naqbi, Director of Media Department in Al Jazeera Club presented some Arabic newspapers to Mr. Gerard and showed him the official website of the club which is in Arabic and English languages. Mr. Gerard expressed his impression with the club website and the UAE media after he had seen various sports annexes to UAE newspapers. It is agreed to execute media cooperation between Al Jazeera and Polarlis. Al Jazeera team continues its trainings after taking Friday off. The team had an evening training on Saturday where the team was split into two groups each of which participated in various fitness exercises. The Brazilian player Piano showed a remarkable performance and coordination and harmony with other team members. On Sunday morning, the team will have hard training in preparation to the game with LASIC Linz in conclusion of the camp in Austria before heading off to Germany in the second phase of the came for this year. |

Al Jazira win first friendly match with Braga
Al Jazira Club won a Scottish football teams in its first match in the camp; the result was three – nil for Al Jazهra. The goals were scored by Fernando Bayano, Abdullah Qasem and Salem Masoud. Al Jazeera formation included all players who joined the camp in St. Wolfgang in Austria. The Brazilian Manager Abel Braga was keen to participate all players in this first match to identify their levels and to reach an appropriate formation of players for the next championships. Braga stated in special statement for the official site of Al Jazira Club that this result from his point of view is not important because he cared more for realizing a suitable formation and to benefit from this camp by participating all players to know their levels. He added; “I work together with the coaching staff to realize harmonization among players; and I want to point out that Al Jazira players are very talented that any manager wishes to have them in his formation, they have such an enthusiasm to win and to benefit from the experience of the others. The players are also very committed to all my instructions and preparations are in progress. I liked the style of Bayano and he played actively and was very effective with his team and I expect that he will be a strong player in the formation of Al Jazira during the next season”. Further, Ahmad Saeed, the Administrator, pointed out that such matches are very important not for their results but to assist the Manager in realizing the levels of the players in the team, given that Braga is newly introduced to the team and he endeavors to create a new, strong and remarkable football team. Saeed added; “We’ll continue participating in some strong matches during our camp in Austria and Germany till we reach a team that is prepared to engage in forthcoming championships”. The team Manager denied his desire to perform a friendly match versus Al Hilal Al Saudi as he mentioned; “We proposed to the Management of Al Hilal Management to play a friendly match with them on 16 August, however they want to play that match on 15 of the same month and this timing was not suitable for us that’s why we apologized for Al Hilal Club Management for not playing this match; a management that we appreciate and respect.” Saeed stated at the end of his statement that the camp is progressing according to the planned schedule and the players are completely adhering to the rules. He also pointed out that Polaris Co. is very keen on providing for all the squad requirements and needs during the camp and that the squad is very pleased and grateful for such distinctive hospitality and entertainment and wishes the company all the success. Further, the squad was invited by Polaris Co. to attend a dinner reception and then they were invited to attend the annual local festival of St. Wolfgang which was described by the team as remarkable and magnificent. It is expected that the team will take rest on Monday and to engage in some recreational activities; e.g. to roam around, shopping, sightseeing, in the City of Linz, Austria. |

Al Jazira club decorated by Air Force
Al Jazira Sports and Cultural Club is awarded a certificated of recognition from the Commandment of Air Forces and Air Defence after hosting the activities of the Air Force and Air Defence Adolescents Program which commenced on 07/08/2008 and continued for one month. 95 adolescents participated in the program, which included different activities such as military training and sports programs which took place in the gymnasium of the club and computer courses as well as field visits to various places in the Emirate. The program resulted in great outcome that is reflected in the skills acquired by the participants in addition to stressing and increasing their patriotic sense and loyalty to their motherland. The club was decorated by the Commandment of Air Force in recognition of the efforts exerted by the club management in rendering this program successful. Situation in camp positive & Management of Club follow camp activities
Ahmad Saeed, the First Team Administrator – Al Jazeera Club, confirmed in a special statement for the Official Site of Al Jazeera Club from his residence at the Camp in Austria his satisfaction towards the enormous preparations made by the officials of the Austrian Club Lans Linz and Porlaise Co.; the entity that organized this Camp. Saeed stated that the Management of Al Jazeera Club headed by Mohamad Thani Al Romaithi has made sure that the team is doing well at the camp in Saint Wolfgang, Austria and the moral spirit of the players as well as their physiological and physical fitness is good. The Management confirmed that they are keen on following up the camp regularly and they praised the situation in the camp describing it as magnificent. Saeed Added that the Camp provides for all the needed requirements and said; “When we arrived at the hotel we had an orientation tour around in Scholi Hotel where the team stay. The players expressed their satisfaction with the hotel and the location of the camp as the atmosphere and the surroundings are fine and magnificent, also required equipment are available and the spirits of the player are very high.” With respect to the matches the team is going to play during the camp in Austria, Saeed said; “We are currently coordinating to hold some friendly matches during the camp. Our first match will be on 8th of August with a Scottish team from the Second League and a match with Lasik Linz Club, Austria on 12th August in commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the Club. Lasik linz Club has played a friendly match Vs. Real Madrid and Real Madrid was the winner. Al Jazeera Club will play on the same stadium and this match is very important given that the Lasik Linz was ranked the third in the Austrian League last year. There are further preparations to schedule a match with a Second League club before ending the camp in Austria. Saeed emphasized the importance of Porlaise; the company organizing this camp. It is worth mentioning that the Porlaise provided for media coverage for Al Jazeera Team as of the date of its arrival to Linz City, Austria. The Company will also, at its cost, carry out medical checkup on Thurday, 7th of August, for all the players in the team. The company is going also to invite all the squad in a short visit to have dinner reception in Linz historical palace to be attended by Mr. George Staberg, North of Austria Governor, Mr. Gerard, Porlaise President and Mr. Khadem Al Qoubaisi, Member of International Petroleum Investment Co. (IPIC), Abu Dhabi. This reception will be on th 9th of August. Saeed concluded his statement saying; “I want to assure Al Jazeera fans that all team players are physically well and their spirits are high. 20 PLAYER OF 14-YEAR-OLD TEAM CAMP IN HUNGARY
The fourteen-year-old football team of Al Jazeera Club is having a camp in the Hungarian capital, Budapest. The delegate is accompanied by Abdulla Al Shabibi, the team administrator; Yasser Farouq, the coach; Hazem Abdul Moati, the assistant coach; Ibrahim Khalifa, goalkeeper trainer and Mohammad Eassmuddien the team physician. The list of players include: Salem AL Mazrouei, Zayed Al Shafaa, Ali Al Nayadi, Saleh Al Homairi, Salem Haidara, Hassan Taher, Ali Al Khamiri, Mohammad Badhafari, Obaid Al Zaabi, Adnan Al Matroushi, Salman Al Hammadi, Ahmad Abdouli, Abdul Razaak Mohammad, Khalifa Abdulla, Abdulla Al Shabibi, Mohammad Al Zoabi, Abdula Karim Al bahadli, Ahmad Arafat and Omar Al Bakri. Abdulla Al Shabibi, team administrator stressed the importance of the training camp of the team in the Hungarian capital, Budapest, in which the players will enjoy the moderate weather and they will play some amicable games with teams of the same age group in order to be aware of the capabilities of the team. 22 PLAYERS OF THE 13-YEAR-OLD TEAM HEADED TO BUDAPEST
The 13-year-old football team of Al jazeera Sports Club headed to the training camp in Budapest presided by Dr, Rajaa Al Kaabi, coach Jassam Anjay and his assistant Abdulla Salem. The delegate includes 22 players born on 1995 who are: Mohammad Hassan, Majed Al Amri, Nahyan Al jumhori, Fahd Al Manhali, Ahmed Al Attas, Rashid Al Hanaei, Thamer Al Mohri, Abdulla Al Wahidi, Nasser Al Shamisi, Mohammad Al Hosani, Sultan Al Abdoul, Abdul Rahman Al Hosani, Sultan Al Shamisi, Ahmed Al Nofali, Butti Al Rumaithi, Yousuf Al Hammadi, Saeed Al Hosani, Salem Al Kalabani, Ali Al Karbi, Saeed Al Makheeni, Ali Al Kalabani and Ahmed Al Ghalani. Dr. Rajaa Al Kaabi stated that focusing of the players is critical factor in this camp and stressed on the importance of benefiting to the most out of the camp in order to realize the goals of the club to attain championships for different age groups. Dr. Al Kaabi added that the team will play some amicable games in its residence in Budapest. The team must focus and take such camp seriously and must benefit from playing with European teams. |
FIRST TEAM DEPARTS TO HUNGARY AND GERMANY
The first football team of Al Jazهra Sports Club left to the external camp in Hungary and Germany on Austrian Airways from Abu Dhabi Int'l Airport at a late hour last night. The delegate is presided by Ahmad Saeed Mabrouk the team administrator and the management staff of the team headed by the Brazilian Abel Braga and his technical and medical staff in addition to 26 players. The list of the players who left did not include the international players in addition to the Ivorian Toni, Ahmad Juma and Hussein Suhail. The team will arrive at Linz then it will head to Wolfgang city which will witness the trainings of the team. The guest of the team is LASK Linz. During the camp, the team will play several amicable games and then will head to Nuremberg, Germany in which the second session of the camp of the team will be held, after which the delegate will return home on 26/08/2008. Before heading off to their camp, the coach met with the players in the conference hall in the presence of the team administrator, Ahmad Saeed, and the international player Saleh Obaid, the captain of the team, who was keen to salute his colleagues before they take off. The Ivorian player, Toni also gave a very touching speech in which he wished them success in that camp. Ahmad Saeed, the team administrator also gave a speech in which he urged the team to exert their utmost in order to make the best out of the camp. The coach then gave a brief on the program of the camp. He also stated that the first period of internal assembly was successful. The team had dinner together before taking the bus to the airport where they were photographed before boarding. Faisal Al Naqbi, Director of media division in the club, was in the airport saluting the team. |
